THE COMPANY:
The association, NIK Non Stock Marketing Cooperative, was formed in May, 1982 by four Nebraska Cooperatives for the purpose of providing support in transportation, freight negotiation and grain merchandising.
Since NIK's inception, the association has grown in membership and in services provided to the group by adding the purchase of chemicals and fertilizers for its members.
NIK has also taken a lead position in the purchase and sales of mineral oil as a suppressant of grain dust for member and non-member operating grain elevators.
Through NIK's subsidiary, Compliance Advisory Service, Inc., we contract with customers in providing information and compliance assistance on governmental health, safety and regulatory issues.
As a limited partner in Liquitech, LTD., NIK is involved with the production and sales of liquid feed for animal consumption.
